Marketing Routines

Regular Marketing Routines

YouTube is our primary content platform. Our branch manager—now the CEO and founder of Sartorial Wealth Inc.—has been featured on major media outlets including CBC, BNN Bloomberg, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, and Breakfast Television.

In my role, I support him by:

  • Writing weekly financial video scripts

  • Editing recorded video content

  • Optimizing SEO using TubeBuddy

  • Publishing videos and creating Shorts

  • Running and managing Google Ads promotions

By redesigning our video editing workflow and style, I helped reduce our promotion budget by 65%, increased follower growth by 30%, and boosted video exposure by 200%.

One of the top-performing videos I edited reached 339K views with only a $10 CAD daily ad spend for 7 days:

Other Social Media Platforms

I also manage our presence on Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Meta (Facebook). While these platforms are not our primary focus, I successfully grew our Instagram following by 400% and maintained active engagement with journalists on X.

This consistent visibility helps ensure our CEO remains top-of-mind for media opportunities. As he often reminds me:
“Out of their sights, out of their minds.”

Website

Before I joined, our website traffic was very low. As part of Raymond James IFS, our site was largely controlled by the head office, allowing only minimal and infrequent updates. With hundreds of similar wealth management teams sharing the same structure, our content lacked differentiation and visibility.

After coming on board, I self-taught SEO through YouTube and began using Semrush to conduct weekly audits and keyword research. By identifying high-performing search terms, optimizing page titles and meta descriptions, and publishing targeted blog content, I significantly improved our website performance—driving thousands of additional visitors despite limited backend access.

Ahead of our transition to Sartorial Wealth Inc. in June 2025, I also initiated communication with FMG, a U.S.-based financial advisor marketing firm, to begin building our new standalone website. After months of collaboration, our final design was selected as a favorite by the FMG design team—a testament to both our brand clarity and creative direction.

Team Materials Designs

As the sole marketing professional on our team, I’m also responsible for designing all marketing materials. Due to privacy considerations, I’m unable to share many of the internal assets I’ve created. However, I can share select examples—such as our logo and a professionally designed flipping brochure—that I have either created or significantly enhanced.

Single Projects

Make Automation

I used Make.com, a no-code automation platform, to build a workflow that pulls financial news via RSS, uses custom ChatGPT assistants to filter high-potential articles, and auto-generates 1,000-word transcripts in Google Drive—all within 4 minutes. While we don’t use the transcripts directly, they serve as a valuable reference resource.

Despite being new to APIs and tokens, I taught myself through YouTube tutorials and built the entire flow independently. I'm also developing an automation that links Zoom AI meeting summaries directly to client profiles in Pipedrive.

Due to privacy concerns, I can only share redacted examples.

Merch Designs

Each year, our fully remote team—three based in Toronto and two in Vancouver—gathers in person for a week-long annual meeting. In 2024, I designed our team merchandise using Vistaprint, an online platform for customizable branded products. The collection included shirts, jackets, pens, tote bags, and mugs.

Beyond team events, the merch has become part of our everyday wear—my boss and I even wear the branded shirts and jackets when we play golf, adding a casual but professional touch to our presence.

Book Writing

I’ve been assisting my boss in writing a book about his journey to becoming one of Canada’s top financial planners and portfolio managers as a child of immigrants. The project is still in progress.

AI Exploration (elevenlab, heygen, vidyo.io ...)

I also explored using ElevenLabs, an AI voice generation tool, and HeyGen, an AI avatar platform, to create French versions of my boss’s videos—allowing him to “present” in another language without recording from scratch. I regularly use Vidyo.ai as well, an AI-powered video clipping tool that selects high-performing moments from our content and generates short-form videos with minimal edits, ready to publish across platforms.

Communications and Administration

Approximately 20% of my role involves assisting our sole administrator with client communications. Our clients are high-net-worth households, each with at least $1M USD under our management, so it’s essential that we provide timely, professional, and thoughtful service.

As my team often says: “It’s more important to have the gut to respond to high-end clients than to be right all the time. We’re not robots—we might make mistakes, but being genuine and solution-oriented always matters most.”

CONCLUSION

Even in a heavily regulated industry, innovation has a place.

From strategy to execution, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to Sartorial Wealth’s brand, voice, and digital presence. Working closely with a visionary leader in the financial field and a highly supportive team, I’ve grown into a more well-rounded marketing specialist—learning to blend creativity with structure, and innovation with compliance. Whether I was building automation flows, crafting content, or supporting media efforts, every project challenged me to adapt, solve problems, and keep improving. These experiences have shaped not only my skills, but also my mindset—and I’m excited to bring this momentum into future opportunities.
