Web3 Livestreamer & Marketing Representative
I've worked as a live streamer and marketing coordinator at Vancouver's X World Games, a Web3 company. Founded in 2018, X World Games (XWG) aims to pioneer the decentralized gaming metaverse, bridging traditional gamers and blockchain while inviting more developers into the crypto space through underlying blockchain infrastructure.
My role centered on the DreamIdols project, a fresh initiative within X World Games. Our company orchestrated a metaverse virtual reality concert using motion capture and facial rendering technology, enabling real performers to dance and sing behind the scenes, while fans experienced metahuman avatars via VR devices.
I conducted weekly livestreams on TikTok through the DreamIdols account, delivering updates on products and events. Collaborating with our marketing team, we grew TikTok followers to 3k with less than 10 live streams.

FB Ads Manager - AB Testing
As part of a school marketing research project for a fashion store, our team of four conducted A/B testing. We created two versions of clothing posters for the store: one featuring models wearing the clothes and the other focusing solely on the garments. Using Facebook Ads Manager, we targeted young fashion enthusiasts residing near the store locations.
Over a 2-week period, we randomly displayed one of the poster versions through Facebook ads, each linked to the store's purchases. The aim was to gauge which poster garnered a higher click-through rate. Ultimately, our findings revealed that the presence of models significantly heightened the appeal of the clothing. Observably, people displayed a greater inclination to click the purchase link when exposed to the poster featuring models.
